Private Jewelry Making Classes
One on One Jewelry Making Instruction
We are pleased to offer private shopping and private jewelry design consultation services. This is a wonderful opportunity to work on-on-one with our staff, learning new skills or designing a special gift or project. We are always happy to work with our clients in the design of a new beaded jewelry piece or with the creation of a perfect compliment to an existing piece of handmade jewelry.

Basic Jewelry Making Classes
Basic Beadstringing Class
This is the perfect class for beginners who aren't sure if they are doing it "right"! Learn about several types of bead stringing, how to attach clasps to create basic beaded necklaces and bracelets. With this class you will be able to begin making your own jewelry. No experience necessary.

Basic Silk Knotting
In this class you will learn to knot pearls and semi-precious gemstones with silk thread. You will learn the traditional European knotting technique used by professional beaders. A fabulous way to show off your most treasured beads!

Wire Work Jewelry Techniques
Learn to make wire beaded jewelry! This is a basic skill that will allow you to make beaded earrings, necklaces and bracelets. You will learn to make beautiful, professional looking jewelry. You will also learn about the many different metals that can be used, including sterling silver, copper, brass, gold filled and less expensive plated metals.

Earring Fundamentals
Every necklace deserves a great pair of beaded earrings to go with it. In this class you will learn to create professional looking bead earrings. By the end the of the class you will be able to design earrings for any occasion.

Advanced Jewelry Making Classes
Advanced Wire Jewelry Making Class
TFor those who have mastered the basics but crave more unique designs, this class teaches how to make a necklace pendant using multiple gauges of wire and glass beads. The class introduces new tools as well as two new techniques that combine what you already know about wire with all the possibility of what it can do. Materials included.

Peyote Bead Weaving Class
Peyote stitch is an off-loom bead weaving technique-you only need needle, thread, beads & know-how.Many cultures around the world have used peyote stitch in their beadwork from Ancient Egyptians to modern Native Americans. Peyote stitch pieces can be woven as flat strips or as a tube so you can use this one stitch to make a flat cuff or tube bangle. Learn this versatile bead weaving stitch and make a beautiful cuff bracelet. Materials included

Beaded Macrame Class
Macrame, a technique that emerged in the Middle East during the 13th century, has been used for many ornamental purposes throughout history, with this skill being used to make everything from towels, shawls, belts and even hammocks! This project class will show you how this hand knotting technique can be applied to jewelry, by making a beaded bracelet. Since the versatility of this stitch allows you to use multiple colored silk thread or beads, the possibilities are endless to how you develop your own unique designs.
